Subject: IS 220 HOURS A LOT FOR A 2007?
Content: I'm looking at a 2007 MALIBU RESPONSE LXi with 220 hours. The dealership is asking $34,800 but everyone I talked to said that's a lot of hours for a 2007 and I should pass on it. Also, I asked the dealer if their sales are down due to the poor economy and they told me they are down about 15%. Most of my friends are telling me the opposite - that the boat dealers are desperate to sell right now and I should play hardball, low ball them and walk away if they won't budge on the price. This is my first boat and I don't want to get screwed. Should I look for a new one instead? Do they offer lower interest rates on new boats?
