just curious who is riding what kind of equipment out there.  how does it ride?  do you like it?  would you recommend anything?

i ride an obrien natural 139 - love it.  great pop, rides fast, tracks well, but only medium in the forgiving aspect.

i've also ridden the obrien valhalla 138.  it also is a very good board.

i also have hyperlite 3ds bindings.  very comfy.  easy on and off - no lube needed.  they hold well on most crashes, but if you bite it real hard and they do get ripped off, it does hurt a the heels of your feet.

i have ridden a ronix vault 139 - rides real buttery and not as fast as the natural.  i've had a couple friends ride it and love it, but it is just not for me.

over the winter, i got a killer deal on a liquid force fish 129 with some closed toe shane bindings.  i'm looking forward to trying them, but it is still too cold.  i'll post what i think when the verdict is in.

Right now I'm riding an '05 Gator Caddy with '03 Byelry's.  I've ridden this same basic board shape for about 7 years now... (Byerly "Blunt", Bad Ass "Pod", and Gator "Caddy")  I'm looking at the Gator Militant now...  Basically the same board, just changed the name, and a pair of their Team bindings.  If not I'll probably go with some '07 Byerly's.  I'm not really happy with the '08 Byerly's...  I don't think he had as much input as his riders did on that binding.  It looks real similar to a Murry binding.

I like really slick boards with 3-stage rocker in about the 136 range.  I jump w2w, not out in the flats so big, abrupt pop is what I look for.  I've tried several different brands and models of boards, but always go back to this shape. It fits my riding style perfectly.

I rode a pair of Bad Ass "Byerly" bindings for the longest time until I couldn't find parts to fix them anymore.  Then I went to the Hyperlite Byerly's because I didn't like laces so the BOA was the selling point.  I still don't like laces, but the Team bindings from Gator look real comfortable and maybe I can deal with having laces.  If not, back to Byerly's.

Skating now w/Omen ( who closed shop, but killer 5 stage rocker ) and my Integrity. When I was strapped, a Hyp Premier w/Zues bindings and LOVED my LF Fish as well! That board was fantastic, however, the board de-laminated but BUYWAKE was great and sent another. Fantastic boardshop is all I can say!
