I am in need of a boat expert, we are looking for a boat for watersports, kneeboarding, tubing and hopefully wakeboarding.  I grew up tubing behind a ski nautique and always loved the boats.  Now that I may be in the market to buy I am in serious need of education on boats!  I've never owned a boat just alwyas had friends who did, therefore I need a serious education on wakeboard boats!  I love the mastercraft x star, but my wallet certainly can't afford it, I am looking for a used wakeboard boat and will likely spend around 30K.  Please if someone can help me I'd appreciate it si I don't get taken for a ride! 

I would hit all your local dealers.  Check out every dealer in town and see how you like each dealer.  See what used boats they have and get out and take some test drives.  You can get a great boat at that price. 

I agree. Check out your local dealers and haggle. They are desperate to sell boats right now. You should be able to get a really good deal if you stick to your guns and low ball them.
