Also, there's over 100lb difference between what the FH 750's hold (which is less than 750) and the Sumo 750 (which is 800+)

I emailed Spencer at Wakemakers yesterday to inquire about the issue of the arrow bag fitting slipping out and this is the response I recieved.
Tim, I just had a chat with Straight Line. It sounds like they have only had one shipment of Axis bow bags, ever. I was under the impression that all Straight Line Sumo sacs that we ordered after we shipped them all back last season were new. You can use the clips until they get the new Axis sacs. At that time we will have you destroy your bag so we can warranty replace it with a new one. Would you like me to forward your address over to them? Let me know. I am sorry for the trouble.
Regards, Spencer
I hope this clarifies things for everyone. I am going to work with Spencer to get a new arrow sac. I hope Spencer doesn't mind me posting the message up here, I just think it helps clarify things.

I have said since day one that it is a thread issue. The threads on the bag and the ones on the fittings do not match. The plugs that come with the bag will tighten down as tight as you can get them but the quick connect ones will not. If you look close the threads are different. I'm positive we can get a better fix than this.

I fail to see why anyone would want to use SL bags in their boat after reading about these issues. I still haven't seen a real fix, just a bandaid.
AJ, no offense but the majority of people here could probably care less about a few extra pounds if the bag design is flawed. What's the extra capacity good for if you can't keep water in it? I hope the new A24 bow bag is issue free for you, have you confirmed with SL that they will have new fittings? I can't imagine they would continue to ship them out like that knowing they need a fix.

DTB you got me thinking. on my last ballast system I tried to mount a 3/4" rule pump directly to a BFI bag. I could never get it to seal because most threads are NPT (national pipe tread taper) the pump was NPT and I think BFI uses NPS(national pipe thread straight) they could also use BSP (british pipe thread). I ended up using a NPS adapter and that finally sealed the bags. It maybe hard to tell but can use see if the tread on the sumo sac are tapered or straight. I see all the fittings they sell for the sumo bags state 1"NPT. any chance you might be able to post a close up pic of the fitting and the plug that seals? and If possible measure the inside diameter of those fittings as well. Id like to know if the sumo sacs really are a larger inside diameter fitting. I just measured a BFI fitting and the inside diameter is 0.827" or 13/16"

Just wanted to share some of my findings. ive been frustrated with the sumos not sealing because I wanted to take full advantage of the 1" PNP on my boat. As I mentioned earlier I have a BFI fitting and the inside diameter of the fitting was 13/16. I ran down to a local boat dealer at lunch. They had the new ronix bags and fittings in stock. the ronix 1 1/8" fitting was huge. I thought I had my answer, I took my micrometer with me and measured the inside diameter of the fitting-----it was 13/16!!!! BFI uses a heavy duty composite fitting that is actually machined. The ronix fitting was just plastic and molded. I wondered why BFI wasn't stepping up to the plate and upgrading their fittings to 1", well apparently they simply didn't need to because their fittings were going to flow the exact same amount of water. The dealer did not have sumo fittings to measure so I cant say for sure but they appear to be identical to the ronix ones just happen to be made in a different color. If somebody has sumo fittings I would love to know the inside diameter. It seams like this whole 1 1/8" fitting argument is just a marketing gimmick..... would love for somebody to prove me wrong. I do like the sumo link port as a easy air burp valve and that the front arrow bag is suppose to be larger than BFI's but like JayMan and SDUKES implied id much rather have a bag that holds water.
