just trying to get the latest info. we all know some of the sumo bag fittings pop out and straightline came out with some metal ring to fix them. has anybody tried these? pics? does anybody have the new bags that have been updated? is the issue resolved? just ordered bags and apparently all of the bags are not updated. I don't want to use BFI with the whole 3/4 " fitting crap. but I also don't want to grow mold in my new rig from leaky fittings.

I'll be honest after my experience with the Sumo Sacs I will take BFI any day regardless of fitting size. What's crap in my opinion, is the fact that this has been an issue with there product for a year and consumers are still being sold a known defective product. Good luck to you guys having issues, I hope y'all get it squared away soon.

Well said. Has anyone posted their fill/drain times with the BFI 750's? If not, I will do it this weekend. I have never had to "wait" on them, they are plenty quick for me. And what's even better? I have never had an issue with them.

I have three of them installed on my boat and only one fitting is giving me issues. It is the vent on the arrow sac. Besides that, I am totally happy with them.

Good deal, I hope you don't have any more issues. Unfortunately that wasn't the case for me I had 5 fittings pull loose on the three bags. Hopefully you will get your issue resolved soon.

Rings are on the way to us at Boardstop. I am waiting to hear if the rings solve the problem. I was done with SL at the end of last season and sent all our remaining bags back. Axis owners kept asking for them and I heard the problem was fixed and I assumed that all the bags would have new fittings so I brought them back in. SL is telling me that the rings will do the job.....I am waiting on a few 'testers' to tell me how the rings work.

I'm going with the Sumo 900's so those have the new fittings to begin with I hear and also waiting on the release of the Sumo A24 bow sack next month. I'd hope that this would be new fittings as it's a totally new sack for a new boat model.
