Its a nice idea. It does not drain as far as I know.

Does it come out if you need to clean it for example?

Its basically a plastic bin that drops in. No lid. The seat is the lid. It will drop in on either side. Chatts pic is a great one of the cooler.

looks nice, but no drain. seems small. Where does it fit. Either back corners or up front? Also may be just worth it to buy a smaller cooler from walmart that will fit. much cheaper im sure. but i do like that this is better than the cooler bag.

fits in the corner seats on each side of the rear bench. to be honest since my sacs are not installed yet, i put my cooler in the storage beside the engine. I also have never even seen my cooler bag out of the plastic its shipped in. i have had the boat 2 months now, it lays still under the bench seat where it was when i first looked at the boat in the showroom.

that looks cool. One problem though, getting that seat cushion out of there without (over time) damaging the vinyl is difficult. I usually slide my rear bench forward to make it easier, but if i had the icechest in that location, with as much use as it will get, i don't think I would slide the seat anymore.

As far as a drain, easy fix. Drill a hole and epoxy a fitting in their that allows for a 1/4" hose to be attached to the underside, and put an expanding removable drain plug. run that hose down under the engine in the bilge. That way you can drain it into your bilge after a long day, its such little water, your pump wont even come on, then when you remove your transom drain plug to drive home, the icechest water will exit.

I love my soft ice chest. It fits perfectly in between the chillax seats when in the up positions (mine are almost always in the up positions), whether the front pnp bag is full or empty. makes it easy for the bow passengers and cabin passengers to get to the drinks without asking people to move or get up out of the way.
