Just wondering...if the drain pumps malfunction, how do you drain the ballast? Worse case on the bags is cut a hole, then use bilge pump, right? What about hard tanks? Just contingency planning.

Hmmmm, I'm no rocket scientist but I'd rather pull the drain hose off the ballast bag before cutting them...but you can cut yours if you like.

^Haha. Please don't cut your bags. I wouldn't worry about water in the hard tanks as much as the bags. I keep a tsunami pump in the boat so it serves as a backup.

Did not think about pulling the hose end off...I will buy a tsunami pump. Great idea.

Agree with the others and wouldn't worry about the tanks. You should still be able to load on the trailer with the hard tanks full, as long as you do dump the bags first.
